EasyHotspot nano is a hosted hotspot billing system, why do you need a hotspot billing system? A Hotspot billing system is used by the hotspot owner to be able to have full control for their hotspot. Wether you choose to charge for hotspot or not, you can control who can access, for how long, the bandwidth speed and more. Who’s gonna need it ? Anyone who wants to build a hotspot or a public WiFi. For example: cafe, hotel, school, residential, public place, or anywhere that requires wireless internet connection.

EasyHotspot nano is basically the same as EasyHotspot opensource that you might already know except that it is a Hosted Service, so what exactly is a Hosted Service? A Hosted Service or sometimes also called Software as a Service (SaaS) is a service or software that is hosted on a server on the web, that means you don’t have to buy or operate your own server, you can access it from anywhere, it’s always on, and you don’t have to worry about the electricity bills.

So what’s the difference between a dedicated billing system and EasyHotspot nano hosted service?

The obvious difference is in ‘where’ the Server runs, with a dedicated billing system you have to buy your own PC to install and operate the billing system server. With EasyHotspot nano the server is already installed and configured for you online, you don’t have to worry about the infrastructure and where to install it, we will handle all of that. All you need is a internet connection and a compatible wireless router (we recommend Linksys WRT54GL).
